By June 2018, the average percentage of students passing classes, in grades 6-12, will increase from 46%-61%, through the implementation of defined practices regarding Instruction, Curriculum and the school Environment (I.C.E.).
Key Process 1 of 3:
Longview School will implement the 4 C's (collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking), in every classroom, through PLT's, in order to increase students' understanding of academic concepts. Process Manager: Ms. Miller (Literacy/Instructional Coach) Measurable Process Checks: -Quarterly, using rubrics, teachers will provide artifacts to Literacy/Instructional coach, in order to track implementation of the 4 C's in the classroom. -Monthly, 4 C's committee will meet in order to discuss implementation/effectiveness of the 4 C's in supporting the overall academic goal of students passing classes at a higher rate. Longview School will implement a blended learning framework, in order support classroom instruction, and provide a varied learning environment. Process Manager: Ms. Frazier (Assistant Principal) Measurable Process Checks: -Quarterly, the blended learning committee will analyze pass/fail rates and the program's assessment data, in order to determine effectiveness in supporting the overall goal of students passing classes. |

Longview School will establish and implement a tiered system of supports, in order to establish Longview Core Practices, and provide support to students who are struggling to be successful academically.
