By June 2018, Longview School will decrease the incidents that lead to suspension by 15 percentage points, from 193 to 164, as reported by the student incident report system (SIRS).
Key Process 1 of 2:
Teachers and staff will implement a point and level system, to capture data based on Longview's high incident areas, in order to provide interventions, and celebrate success, in terms of behaviors. Process Manager: Ms. Hauser Measurable Process Checks: Daily, in debrief, case managers and teachers will analyze behavior data, in order to measure student behavioral progress, and provide interventions to students who continue to have behavioral struggles. Monthly, committee will meet to discuss effectiveness of the implementation of Longview's point and level system. |
Key Process 2 of 2:
Longview School will establish and implement a tiered system of supports, in order to meet the needs of struggling students, by providing levels of intervention for students requiring additional behavioral support.
