By June 2018, the percentage of teachers that agree that "there is an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect in the school," will increase 20 percentage points from 60% to 80%, according to the teacher working conditions survey (TWC).
Key Process 1 of 2:
Longview School will recognize and celebrate achievements and milestones, throughout the year, in the middle and high School, in order to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust among students, teachers and parents. Process Manager: Mr. Grantham/Hauser Measurable Process Checks: -Weekly, celebration committee will celebrate good behavior through "Fun Friday" activities. -Monthly, BST will identify student of the month (middle and high), based on point and level sheet criteria. -Monthly, celebration committee will meet to identify teacher of the month (criteria needed). -Monthly, celebration committee will meet to identify parent of the month (criteria needed). -Monthly, celebration committee will meet to discuss the effectiveness of school wide celebrations on improving the "atmosphere of trust and respect" at Longview. and -Assess opportunities for more school wide celebrations. |

Longview School will begin "School Beautification Project" in order to provide an environment that supports "mutual trust and respect" among staff and students. Process Manager: Ms. Williams Measurable Process Checks: -Monthly, beautification committee will meet to establish needs and develop next steps. -Beautification committee will also meet to assess and discuss the process in relation to building an "atmosphere if trust and mutual respect." |
